I’m writing today to provide an update on Adenovirus on our campus. 
I am writing to make you aware of a campus-wide communication that was distributed to students yesterday, as well as some FAQs from the University Health Center that include important information for parents/families about health concerns related to adenovirus.
Flu and other virus season is upon us again and I’m writing with some things to consider. We are seeing many ill students (as is typical in the fall) with fevers and sick symptoms for a variety of reasons.
As UMD students progress through college, they should think about finding an internship for the fall, spring, or summer. Internships are a great way to explore potential career fields, gain relevant work experience, and more. To get the lowdown on how to help your student land that coveted internship, we sat down with Erica Ely, Program Director of Internships in the University Career Center & The President’s Promise, for a Q&A.
